With our separate business unit, VGP Renewable Energy, we want to facilitate the green energy transition of our clients and support them on efficient energy management in a cost-effective way. VGP Renewable Energy offers a broad array of renewable energy solutions for warehouses, including solar, wind and thermal, as well as integrators for storage and distribution. We invest and operate photovoltaic systems directly as an owner, and in cooperation with our tenants, at our VGP Parks.
GERMANY
VGP Gießen Am Alten Flughafen covers 317,000 m2 and is home to 251,000 m2 of lettable area that is leased out to Zalando and DP World. The site is adjacent to the B3 and A485. Gießen has two universities, which offer a highly qualified workforce. The city of Gießen is a transport hub connecting the A5 and A7 the federal motorways (Hamburg/Basel) with the A45 (Sauerlandlinie:Ruhr/Nordbayern), and thus it provides optimal public transport options.
GERMANY
VGP Park Russelheim (+700,000 m2) represents one of the largest and most central industrial property developments in Germany. VGP recently obtained the building permit the first stage of the grEEn campus which will be new Stellantis Germany and global Opel headquarters. The works on VGP Park Russelsheim started in 2024 and the park will be developed into approximately 350,000 m2 of lettable area, tailored for industrial companies and SME value-added businesses.
